Ophthalomology

Ophthalmology is the branch of medicine which deals with the diseases and surgery of the visual pathways, including the eye and surrounding areas such as the lacrimal system and eyelids.

Our Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeons are available to examine, diagnose and treat any concerns you may have with your eye and surrounding areas.  

Available Diagnostic Tests and Treatments include:   

• Visual acuity (eye tests)
• Visual fields testings (glaucoma)
• Tonometry (eye pressure)
• Cataract surgery
• Lens implant surgery (custom made or multifocal) Cyst removal
• Lid surgery
• Squint correction surgery
• Treatment for dry eyes
• Lacrimal washout

• Consultation
• Individualised eye tests
• Discussion of test results, advice and treatment options
