We offer the choice of an alternative treatment venue for referrals from lengthy NHS waiting lists.
We work in collaboration and partnership with NHS on a number of initiatives engaged to tackle the increasing problem of waiting lists with the NHS. We’re here to offer an overflow service to help support the improvements and targets set by Government to refer a number of NHS patients each year for consultation and surgery to the independent sector.
In the current climate of intense pressure within the NHS to reach these targets, 3fivetwo is ideally placed within the private sector to provide services, in partnership with the Boards, across a wide spectrum of specialties. We have the capacity, consultant expertise from all Health Boards and infrastructure to provide high quality services adhering to all the principles on which the NHS was founded.
We’re proud of our track record in this new area and are continually monitoring our performance by internal audit and patient satisfaction questionnaires. We are also ideally suited because the majority of the services are either provided or led by local Consultants who are familiar with the high expectations of the local population and of the standards required by the Boards. Where contracts require services or space not currently available within 3fivetwo, we have the expertise to forge linkages with other public and private providers with spare capacity, to ensure targets are met with minimum disruption. This is another exciting area of innovation which 3fivetwo Healthcare is proud to be at the forefront of in partnership with the NHS.
